BASALTS OF VARIOUS GENESIS IN THE ZONE OF THE INTERCONNECTION OF THE WESTERN BLACK SEA CAVITY, THE MOUNTAIN CRIMEA AND THE SCYTHIAN PLATE
Basalts and andesibasalts, which are the most informative from a geodynamic point of view, have been discovered and studied within three magmatic areas in the northern part of the Black Sea on the continental slope and nearby land. Based on the petrochemical and geochemical characteristics, 5 petrogenetic types of basalts have been distinguished; their geodynamic interpretation is given.
Keyword: Basalts, Black Sea, geodynamics.
