On July 2, 2012 Evgeny Pavlovich Larchenkov, a well-known geologist, head of the Department of General and Marine Geology of the Odessa National University, doctor of geological and mineralogical sciences, professor, academician of the Engineering Academy of Sciences of Ukraine passed away.
