MUD VOLCANOES OF THE CASPIAN SEA 
The article focuses on problems dealing with development and spatial distribution of mud volcanoes in South Caspian aquatorium, typical peculiarities of mud volcanic process, the
main differences and properties of marine and land mud volcanoes, their paroxysm activity over the last two centuries and periods of activization related to seismicity.
