DEEP GEOLOGICAL STRUCTURE OF MUD VOLCANOES IN THE BLACK SEA
In the article considered the features of the deep geological structure of mud volcanoes in the Black Sea. There are three types of mud volcanoes. The roots are traced in the Mesozoic volcanic and even conventional foundation. Their genesis is associated, probably, with massive carbohydrate fluid plume in the interpretation P.N. Kropotkin and B.M. Valyayev.
Key words: mud volcano, diapir, carbohydrate plum, subvertical geological body.
