MONOGRAPH by O.A. Shpytsov "NATIONAL SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS OF UKRAINE
AT SEA: FROM ORIGIN TO PERSPECTIVES"
The manuscript of the monograph by O.A. Shchyptsov "National Scientific Interests of Ukraine at Sea: From Origins to Prospects" has been submitted to a competition for the release of scientific printed products in 2022 under a state contract within the framework of the "Scientific Book" project of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
The content of the monograph includes two sections, 7 chapters, 32 parts with individual points highlighted, 12 appendices, more than 100 photos and drawings from the author's archive, as well as a list of 172 used sources.
The author limited the analytical materials included in the content of the monograph to the analysis of the results of activities in the field of science of those state authorities, institutions and departments that he directly headed.
The main goal of the scientific publication is the accumulation and publication of fundamental national information on maritime matters (analytical materials, documents, data, etc.) on achievements, successfully implemented projects and promising scientific developments (the implementation of which was suspended or postponed) on the issues of the formation of maritime subjectivity of Ukraine, in particular, the deployment of systematic implementation of domestic fundamental and applied scientific research in the Azov-Black Sea basin and other regions of the World Ocean. The monograph contains detailed information about the real starting maritime capital and infrastructural capabilities that Ukraine possessed at the time of the declaration of independence.
The monograph is addressed to scientists, specialists, teachers and students who are interested in the complex of sciences investigating the World Ocean.
